There’s one thing people appreciate more than anything else in a work-related email or conversation:
Clear, concise language – without the stupid buzzwords.
Cliched, silly language has inundated the workplace so much that employees rate how much they hate it.
“Circle back” yourself, pal.
Here are a few more tired business jargon phrases that should result in immediate termination. Some have been around a bit longer than others but haven’t “been out to pasture yet” (sorry about that):
1. “It’ a no-brainer”
2. “Touch base”
3. “Going forward”
4. “We’re all on board”
5. “Let’s revisit that”
6. “On my radar”
7. “On your radar”
8. “We should try that”
9. “At close of day”
10. “It’s on my calendar”
