Now’s the time of year when all the annual top 10 lists start appearing. Here’s one that impacts your business.
CCH’s 2009 State Business Tax Climate Index was just released. And while you probably aren’t going to pull up stakes and suggest shifting your business to a “friendlier” state, you do want to know where your state ranks.

Even if your state doesn’t appear on either list, you’ll want to take a look at where your neighbors fell.
They’ll have an impact on your business, too.
If a state right next to yours has earned a spot on the worst-tax climate list, for example, your own state may jump on that opportunity to make doing business there even more attractive.
