Frequent business fliers already know the perils of business travel and probably have plenty of horror stories. But could something as simple as a bag cure those woes?
Marketing specialist Kentin Waits thinks so. He found the single bag solution to be a major aid to the chaos of constant business travel. You’ll need to choose the right type of carry-on bag and learn to pack like a pro, but it’ll definitely pay off for peace of mind in addition to saving on luggage fees.
Fast, flexible and efficient
Relying solely on one carry-on bag means no time wasted waiting at the carousel of luggage. While others are waiting, you — or your staffers — can already be at the cab stand or getting into a rental car.
Cancelled flights are also inevitable. With one carry-on travelers won’t have the fear of luggage being lost in rerouted trips and are free to adapt to last-minute changes. And without having to worry about luggage employees can actually focus on why they’re traveling in the first place: business.
The ‘break-away’ bag
Waits also suggests packing a break-away bag inside your carry-on. This would be a separate plastic case, about 8″ x 6″, that can hold your essentials for when you’re on the plane: small snacks, earbuds, an e-reader or book, and any medications. With a break-away bag, you won’t need to constantly rummage around your carry-on mid-flight.
