When it comes to hiring new workers, employers want the best – and they’re willing to go to great lengths to get it.

In fact, 32% of employers said they’d be willing to pay to relocate new employees in 2012, according to a recent study by CareerBuilder.

And many employees appear to be more than willing to accept a job that requires them to relocate. The study found that almost half (44%) of employees said they’d be willing to relocate for a career opportunity.

When it comes to relocating, the top challenges employees cited included:

• cost of living (26%)
• increased stress on the family (24%), and
• difficulty making new friends (24).

However, of the employees that relocated in the last year, more than three-fourths (77%)  said they were happy with the move and didn’t regret the decision.
