Spend more time wading through touch-tone menus than actually talking to the person you’re trying to reach? Here’s a tool that can help.
Rather than listen to phone options over and over again, Fonolo goes through the phone menus of most major companies so you can navigate them visually. Choose a number, and you can see exactly where or who you’re trying to reach.
Having that info on-screen can be useful, but Fonolo takes it a step further and offers to do the “Deep Dialing” for you. After clicking the spot you’d like to be taken to, Fonolo will dial your phone and connect you to the right place in the menu.
The program also keeps a running call history for you, so you’ll be able to reach frequently called spots without typing in your information all over again. The program is still in its beta form, but is free to use.
