If your A/P department hasn’t gone paperless yet, you may get more than just a little nudging from your suppliers in the very near future.
As a New Year’s resolution, an overwhelming majority of companies plan on using their most concerted efforts to get customers to go paperless.
Of the 300 companies surveyed by IDC in the Green IT & Sustainability Survey 2009, 92% said they’ll put programs in place to switch customers to an electronic system with the next year.

To make sure you’re not caught off guard, talk with your major suppliers and see if they fall into the 92%.
