In fact, 29% of employees said personal finance issues have been a distraction at work, and 48% admitted they’ve handled their personal finances during work hours – according to PricewaterhouseCoopers’ 2011 Financial Wellness Survey.
The survey also highlighted employees’ top financial concerns, which included:
• Not having sufficient emergency savings for unexpected expenses (25%)
• Not being able to pay monthly expenses (20%), and
• Not being able to retire when they want to (18%).
