A recent study gauged how satisfied U.S. workers were with their salaries. Check out the findings and see if you agree.
According to a recent study by Kenexa, the majority of workers (60%) feel they are paid fairly by their employers. Thirty-seven percent believe they underpaid — and just 2% believe they are overpaid.
The study also found that gender plays a key role in how whether workers believe they’re being justly compensated. While only around one-third of men thought they were underpaid, close to half (43%) of women felt that way.
Of course, location plays a key role in what workers think about take-home pay, as well. Only 32% of employees in the Midwest feel they’re underpaid — compared to the 42% in the Northeast.
The Kenexa study was based on responses from 1,044 U.S. employees.
