Apparently, calling a cab just wasn’t an option for this group of drunken office workers.
Everybody was having a grand old time at an office party in China until the company president, Zhang Fei, announced to his employees that he was simply too drunk to drive himself home.
But when Fei started looking for someone to drive him home, he found out everybody in the group was just as sloshed as he was.
Fei didn’t want to leave his car downtown, so his vice president, Huang Weiyun, came up with a creative solution.
The solution: All of the employees would push the president’s car — with Fei inside — back to his home, which was around three miles away.
According to the VP, not only would the move solve the immediate problem, it would also sober the rest of the group up.
In the end, the group loudly and drunkenly pushed the president’s ride back to his abode, a trip that took around 45 minutes in all. The group was stopped once by a traffic officer en route; however, because the engine wasn’t running, the group didn’t break any laws and were allowed to pass.
The event probably made for some great conversations the following day at work.
