Job interviews at this organization include the pointed question: “Has your vital organ ever been enlarged?”
Indonesia’s Papua police and military departments has banned its male employees from having their penis enlarged.
Why? According to police spokesman Zainur Lubis, the extreme size of the enhancements causes “hindrance during training.”
So, moving forward, anyone who has an enlargement will be considered “unfit to join the police or the military.”
The ban may end up costing Papua a significant number of otherwise able-bodied officers.
Male enlargements are all the rage in Papua according to its local paper Jakarta Globe. According to a sexologist the paper interviewed, Papuans use a local technique to achieve the enlargement that consists of wrapping the penis with leaves from the “gatal-gatal” tree so that it swells “like it has been stung by a bee.”
